I’m Laurie Ann; most people call me LA. I'm a single mom to three incredible neurotypical grown kids, and extraordinary non-verbal autistic teenage twin boys. I’m also a triple negative breast cancer survivor. Life has made me purposeful, resilient, and very clear about what actually matters.

Special Needs Daily exists for parents and caregivers living the real, unfiltered experience of special needs parenting; the love, the pressure, the advocacy, the exhaustion, and the strength you didn’t know you had.
