I’m Laurie Ann; most people call me LA.

I’m a battle-tested single mom to non-verbal autistic teenage twin boys.

I’m also a triple negative breast cancer survivor,
which means I’ve learned some things the hard way, like:

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, and laughter isn’t denial; it’s survival.

This life is beautiful. It’s brutal. And It’s all-consuming.

But we still show up for it:

Every.
Single.
Day.

Here, we tell the truth about the hard. We don’t compete in the suffering Olympics. And we definitely don’t pretend we’ve mastered patience or engage in toxic positivity.

This is a judgment-free space
where laughter is medicine, tears are respected, and faith; however you practice it, helps steady us when the waves feel bigger than we are.
